When you buy a bottle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you buy the result of a long process of production and selection, according to traditional methods that have remained unaltered for 90 years.

Each year, when the olive harvest starts in October, we at La Chinata select for our customers the best hand-picked fruits from the region of Sierra de Gata-Hurdes, in the north of the province of Cáceres.

We select only the olives from completely healthy olive trees, when they have reached their correct ripening stage to produce the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
When the olives reach our factories, we carry out a second selection, this way we are sure we can oer the quality that our customers demand, being accustomed to high standards since the time of our origins.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced through a simple physical process of pressing the fruit without any additives. The result is olive oil with irreproachable sensorial characteristics.

There are no more processes in the elaboration of our oil. Just that our tasters select, according to a strict criterion inherited from our forebears, the oil that has all the appropriate sensorial characteristics (colour, aroma and taste) that we consider essential to bottle it under our brand. 

Therefore, when you try our oil you will enjoy the result of an exhaustive effort of production and selection, because our concern is always to offer you the best for your health and your palate.
